‘I have known Phil for approximately 2 years, when he was recommended to me by some good mutual friends. Since that time Phil has been employed by us on a regular basis to play music at our Bar, known as The Welsh Dragon, in Wellington. His acoustic guitar playing skills are outstanding, & he sings well from a very wide range of popular cover songs. He plays for approx 3 hours, but many a time he has gone on for longer if it proves to be a busy night & no one wants to leave!  Phil is a really nice, quiet guy who minds his own business, gets on with playing music which he obviously loves, & entertains a captive audience. He is also very flexible in the hours & times required, often filling in for someone else at very short notice. ‘
